Demand the onboard generator (or an auxillary) have gas, the fresh water tank water & the propane tank propane for testing applicances, furnace, A/C, etc. before a final inspection.

Outside Area:

Check all tires, including the inside & spare tires, for wear & damage.
Check that there is adequate clearance for the areas you wish to go.
Check that the slide out(s) (if present) open & close properly & that there is socket wrench for operating manually.
Check that all outside lights work properly.
Check that all AC outlets work properly.
Check that all basement compartment locks open & lock easily.
Check that all basement compartment are tight or they will rattle in the wind.
Know where furnace, propane, hot water heater, fresh water & sewage controls are.
Check that the awning(s) work properly & are in good condition.
Check that the outside shower (if present) works properly.
Check that the ladder to the roof is solid & in good shape.
Check that the roof is in good shape & contains no holes are excessisve wear.
Check that all vents are sealed tightly with no cracks.
Check that there is room for the number of solar panels desired.
Check that the body has no dents or scratches.
Check that the sliding step (if present) works properly.
Check windshield for pits & dings that need repairing. Check wiper blades & check they haven't been wearing into the windshield.

Engine Compartment:

Can the batteries be charged from the alternator while driving?
Is there room for additional house batteries to be installed? Check that the engine compartment light (if present) works properly.

Bedroom:

Check that the Owner's Manuals are present for all appliance and electrical components.

Check that gas, smoke, carbon monoxide detectors are working properly. (batteries?)
Check that all lights work properly.
Check that all AC outlets work properly.
Check that all DC outlets (if present) work properly.
Check that all windows open & close easily & have screens.
Check that any vents & fans work properly & have screens.
Check that the air conditioner is working properly. Check that all cabinets & closets open & close properly.
Check the mattress, it should be brand new (I think).
Check the carpeting for stains & excessive wear.
Check the wallpaper, ceiling & corners for mold & water damage from leaks.

Bathroom:

Check that all lights work properly.
Check that all AC outlets work properly.
Check that any vents & fans work properly & have screens.
Check that all cabinets & closets open & close properly.
Check the ceiling & corners for water damage from leaks.
Check that sink & bathtub faucets & shower head & drains work properly.
CHeck that there are no leaks under the sink.
Check that the toilet flushes properly & water flows on demand.
Check that the water pump works properly.
Check that the hot water pump works properly. If it fires up, it should be OK.

Hallway:

Check that all lights work properly.
Check that all AC outlets work properly.
Check that all drawers & closets open & close properly.
Check the ceiling & corners for water damage from leaks.
Check that the furnace works properly. If it fires up, it should be OK.
Check that the refrigerator/freezer work properly on AC current & propane.
Check the carpeting for stains & excessive wear.
Check the wallpaper, ceiling & corners for mold & water damage from leaks.

Living Area:

Check that gas, smoke, carbon monoxide detectors are working properly. (batteries?)
Check that all lights work properly.
Check that all AC outlets work properly.
Check that all DC outlets (if present) work properly.
Check that any vents & fans work properly & have screens.
Check that all cabinets & drawers open & close properly.
Check the ceiling & corners for water damage from leaks.
Check that the sink faucets & drain work properly.
Check that the air conditioner is working properly. Check that there are no leaks under the sink.
Check that the stove/oven/microwave work properly.
Check that the exhaust fan & lights & switches & gauges all work properly.
Check that the dinette set is in good repair & there is storage beneath the seats.
Check that the sofa (if present) fold out into a bed & the mattress & cushions are in good condition. Check the carpeting for stains & excessive wear.
Check the wallpaper, ceiling & corners for mold & water damage from leaks.

Cab Area:

Check that the Owner's Manuals are present.
Check that the leveling jacks (if present) work properly.
Check that the on board generator starts & stops from the cab.
Check that the leveling jacks (if present) work properly. Check that you can get into & out of the driver's & passenger seats.
Check if driver's or passenger seats recline & swivel.
Check that the cab curtains work properly & are in good condition.
Check that the engine sounds OK while idling.
Check that the heater/defroster/fan/air conditioner are working properly.
Check that all lights are working properly; headlights, taillights, turn signals, flashers, backup lights, brake lights.
Check that all DC outlets (if present) work properly.
Check that radio/CD/cassette/MP3 player are working properly.
Check that windshield wipers are working properly.
Know & understand all gauges & switches.
Take it out for a test drive. Bring along someone knowledgeable in cars.
Check that cruise control (if present) works properly.
