Tent = $16.65 tax included (resident price). Campgrounds: Good Campsites: Good Noise: Fair. 5+ trains passing nearby during night. Several airplanes during night.
DeBary, Lake Monroe (Velousia County) Camping Areas (north side of bridge) $15/night $90/week Rating: Camping Areas - Good Noise - Horrible Pretty. Excessive train and street noise. The smallest toilet stalls I've ever seen. I doubt if I'll be back here either.
Boat Launches:
Orange City, Blue Spring State Park, from its junction with SR 472 continue south on US 17/US 92 1.7 miles and turn right onto French Ave. Follow this road 2.0 miles to the Blue Spring State Park and continue straight on dirt road another .8 miles to the end and the boat ramp. Free. 17/92 south to High Banks Road in DeBary. Make left at WinDixie and go to end of road.

de Leon Springs, de Leon Springs, from its junction with SR 19 (40 miles south of Palatka on SR 19 and 25 miles east of Silver Springs on SR 40), go east 13.8 miles on SR 40 and turn right at the SR 17 junction. Continue 6.2 miles and turn right on Ponce de Leon Blvd at the de Leon Springs State Park sign and continue .7 miles to the park. $3/one person, $5/2-8 people.

Tomoka State Park boat ramp: 1-2 miles south of Gamble Rogers State Patk is a scenic road on the right. 1/4 mile is a drawbridge with a boat ramp beside it. Take route A1A through Daytona Beach to Ponce de Leon Inlet. Turn right just before the county park entrance. Turn right again at dead end and go past parking lot to ramp on left.
Deland, Hoontoon State Park, from its junction with US 17/US 92 south, turn right onto SR 44 (New York Ave). Go 1.8 miles and turn onto CR 4110 (Old New York Road). Go 1.7 miles and turn left on CR 4125 (Hoontoon Road). Go 2.3 miles and turn left on River Ridge Road (still CR 4125). Go .8 miles and turn left into park. Free ferry to island (no cars).

de Leon Springs, Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge, from its junction with SR 19 (40 miles south of Palatka on SR 19 and 25 miles east of Silver Springs on SR 40), go east 13.8 miles on SR 40 and turn right at the SR 17 junction. Continue 6.4 miles and turn right at the Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge sign and follow signs to refuge.

Dunnellon, Rainbow River State Park $13.12 (includes tax) Campground: Fair Campsite: Fair Noise: Good Campsites in my area were fair. Down by the river tents were jammed so close together you wouldn't be able to walk between them.

Ross Prairie State Forest, from its junction with US 41 in Hernando take SR 200 north about 9.5 miles and turn right at the sign or from its junction with CR 484 take CR 200 south 1.4 miles and turn left at the sign and follow road .3 miles to campground. $10/night. Flush toilets, water, trash. Mostly for RV's with horse trailers.

St. Augustine, Bridge Of Lions, From Anastasia State Recreation Area turn right on A1A and go .3 miles north. Turn right and follow Red Cox Drive .2 miles. Turn right onto Ocean Vista Ave and follow it to the boat ramp.
Crescent Beach, Matanzas River, From FL A1A and FL 206 in Crescent Beach, continue south on FL A1A 1.2 miles. Turn right at the Fishing Camp sign and the boat ramp. $3.
Camping Areas:
Deland, Tiger Bay State Forest (Rima Ridge Sections), from its junction with US 17 in Deland take US 92 east 11.1 miles to Indian Lake Road. Follow this road 1.7 miles to the entrance to Tiger Bay State Forest (Rima Ridge Section). Continue .6 miles and turn right on Rima Ridge Road. At 1.6 miles turn right into camping area (no sign). There is more camping on Tram Road 2.8 miles farther on Rima Ridge Road. $5/night, chemical toilets, a couple of trash cans, permit required.
