Daniel Boone National Forest:
Cave Run Lake:
Farmers, take exit 133 from I 64 onto KY 801. Follow KY 801 south for 8 miles to Twin Knob Campground. Several boat ramps along the way. $16/night $24/night w/hookups. Water, flush toilets, dumpster, shower. Closes end of October.
Salt Lick, Clear Creek Campground, from it's junction with US 60, follow KY 211 south 3.6 miles and turn left at the Daniel Boone National Forest sign. Follow this road 2.4 miles to the campground on the right. $16/night.
Salt Lick, Zilpo Campground, from it's junction with US 60, follow KY 211 south 3.6 miles and turn left at the Daniel Boone National Forest sign. Follow this road 3.7 miles and make a left at the Zilpo sign. (Some dispersed camping on side roads off this road). Follow this road 9.0 miles to the campground at the end. Already closed 10/31.

Campgrounds:
Corbin, Holly Bay Campground, from its junction with I 75 in London, follow KY 192 south 14 miles to its junction with KY 1193. Turn left and follow KY 1193 .7 miles and turn left again. Continue on KY 1193 .8 miles and turn left again and again in .3 miles at the campground. Already closed in early Novemember.
Corbin, Grove Campground, from its junction with I 75 in London, follow KY 192 south 14 miles to its junction with KY 1193. Turn left and follow KY 1193 .7 miles and turn left again. Continue on KY 1193 .8 miles and turn left again and again in 6.9 miles at the campground. Already closed in early Novemember.
Red River Gorge:

Pine Ridge, Koomer Ridge Campground, Take exit 33 off the Bert T. Combs Mountain Parkway and follow KY 15 east 4.8 miles. $7/night, pit toilets, water, trash cans.

Several trails, some leading to arches, etc. Get information at ranger station about mile 5 from the north end of KY 715.
Cumberland Falls State Park:
No entrance fee.

Natural Bridge Trailhead between the two campgrounds above. Several trails interconnect all leading to the base or top of the natural bridge.

Green River Campground, 1 mile from the visitor center. $17/night, water, flush toilets, pay showers.
Houchins Ferry Campground, from its junction with US 70 in Brownsville, turn right on KY 259 and go .2 miles. Turn right past the Marathon Gas Station and go 1.5 miles to the campground. $12/night, water, port-a-potti.
