Bluestone National Scenic River + New River Gorge National River:

   Hinton, Bluestone State Park, $8

        Rating: Camping Areas: Fair     Noise: Excellent

            Tent area - no showers, Old Mill - cold shower, Meodar - hot showers.  This state park has the worst camping facilities of any park I've been in.

  Hinton, New River, From the WV 20 bridge over the Bluestone River follow WV 20 south 6.2 miles.  Turn left on Gravely Point Road CR 44/11 and follow it 2.2 miles.  Bear left at the fork in the road and go .4 miles and turn right on Bull Falls Road, a dirt road.  Follow the dirt road down the mountain for 1.8 miles.  Turn left at the kiosk and go .4 miles to the dirt boat ramp.

     Rating: Camping Areas: Fair     Noise: Good

        Sites jammed together and no shade.  Cold showers at boat ramp.  Boat ramp traffic thru the night.  Airplane noise thru the night.

     Rating: Camping Areas: Fair     Noise: Probably excellent except for train noise

        Railroad tracks nearby.  Sites jammed together and no shade.
