Overnight parking and camping not permitted at rest areas.
Hundreds of 5th wheels unoccupied during week. Seem to be left from weekend to weekend.
Camping limit 14 days which seems to be enforced.
Most water is from long handled pumps. It's kinda difficult to hold a 7 gallon water jug in one hand and a long handled pump in the other and pump water. I carry an extra bucket for clean water, pump the water into the bucket and then empty the bucket into the jug.

Pearson Creek Trail: About mile 22, just east of Moose Flat Campground.
Lake Barstow Trail. About mile 38. Turn onto the signed road and travel 3 miles to the signed trailhead. Road may be too muddy for 2WD if wet.
Crow Creek Trail: About mile 41.
Coral Creek Trail: About mile 46.
Poker Creek Trial: About mile 59.5. Turn onto the signed road and travel 3 miles to the signed trailhead.
South La Barge Creek Trail: About mile 68. Turn onto the signed road. Road forks 1 mile. I went 1 mile past cabin where it forked again. Right fork gated and this is probably the trail.
Absaroka Creek Trial: About mile 68. Turn onto the signed road and travel 6 miles. Didn't find Absaroka but did ind The Shafer Trail. 2 miles to Fontenelle Lakes, 5 miles to Red Park. Parking 1/4 mile past trailhead. to the signed trailhead.

Lander, Stough Creek Basin Trail, from the center of Lander, turn west on Fifth Ave at the Sinks Canyon sign. Follow Fifth Ave .7 miles to end and turn right onto WY131. Follow WY 131 9.3 miles to end of pavement at Bruce Parking area for Pogo Agie Falls Trail. Continue onto the dirt road (FR300) another 6.7 miles to the signed junction with FR302. Continue past Youth Camp 2.5 miles to trailheads at end of road.

Lander, Blue Ridge Lookout Trail, from the center of Lander, turn west on Fifth Ave at the Sinks Canyon sign. Follow Fifth Ave .7 miles to end and turn right onto WY131. Follow WY 131 9.3 miles to end of pavement at Bruce Parking area for Pogo Agie Falls Trail. Continue onto the dirt road (FR300) another 10.8 miles to the trailhead on the right.
Lander, Christina Lake Trail, from the center of Lander, turn west on Fifth Ave at the Sinks Canyon sign. Follow Fifth Ave .7 miles to end and turn right onto WY131. Follow WY 131 9.3 miles to end of pavement at Bruce Parking area for Pogo Agie Falls Trail. Continue onto the dirt road (FR300) another 12.7 miles to the trailhead on the right.
Lander, Silas Lake Trail comes in 1.5 miles up Christina Lake Trail (above).
Big Sandy, Big Sandy Opening, about 25 miles from Farson and 44 miles from Lander on WY 28 turn onto the dirt road at the Sweetwater Gap Ranch and Big Sandy sign. Follow signs 35 miles to the Big Sandy Campground and trailhead.
Farson, Big Sandy Opening, from its junction with US 191 take WY 28 east 4.3 miles and turn left at the Big Sandy sign and the Little Sandy Ranch. Go straight for 21.2 miles and bear right at the sign. Go 1.3 miles and bear left at the sign. Go 5.9 miles and bear right at the sign. Go 5.2 miles and bear right at the sign. It's 16 miles to the trailhead from there.
Pinedale, Green River Lakes Trailhead, from Pinedale, follow US91 west 5 miles and turn north onto WY352. Follow WY352 24.5 miles to Bridger National Forest and the end of the paved road. Continue almost 18 miles on rough, dirt road to campground and trailhead. Water & toilets at trailhead. Dumpster at mile 2.5 of the dirt road.
Pinedale, New Fork Lake Trailhead, from Pinedale, follow US91 west 5 miles and turn north onto WY352. Follow WY353 14 miles to Bridger National Forest. Turn onto New Fork Lake Road and continue 6 miles to campground and trailhead. Water and dumpster at trailhead.
Pinedale, Spring Creek Trailhead, from the center of town, turn north on Willow Lake Road and follow it 9 miles to the Bridger National Forest. Turn right onto single lane Spring Creek Road and follow it 2.5 miles to trailhead. I turned back because of severely eroded road.
Pinedale, Elkhart Trailhead, at the east end of town, turn onto Fremont Lake Road and follow it 14 miles to the trailhead at the end. Water, toilet, dumpster.

Victor, ID, Mike Harris NF Campground, from Victor, take ID 33 east 4.0 miles and turn right at the campground sign and then left. $10/night, water, toilets, dumpster. Instead of turning left, go straight to a few dispersed campsites. A 2nd NF Campground is about a mile farther across the Wyoming border. Same price and amenities.
Driggs, ID Teton Canyon NF Campground, from downtown Driggs, turn onto Ski Hill Road (at the light) and follow it 6.1 miles. Turn right at the Teton Canyon sign. Follow this rough, washer board 4.0 miles and turn right at the campground. $10/night, water, toilets, dumpster. Many turnoffs to possible dispersed camping along this dirt road.

Victor, ID, Baldy Knoll, from its junction with ID 31, take ID 33 north and turn right on Aspen Ave. After .4 miles turn left on Road 00 then right on 775 S after .2 miles. Another .4 miles brings you to a sharp turn. Park here. You will see 3 roads, the middle one is the start of the unsigned trail.

MM 16.6 turn left onto unsigned (FR166?) road. Go 1.5 miles & turn right. At 2.8 miles bear left. At 3.4 miles turn right to overlook.
MM 21.0 turn left onto unsigned (FR011) road. Go 4.5 miles to camping and putins from stony point/beach. Several steep hills near last mile or so. Road to right follows reservoir several miles with ample camping and short portages to putins.
MM 23.0 turn left onto unsigned (FR009) road.
Go 1.7 miles and turn left. Go .1 miles & turn right. Go .4 miles & turn right again. Go .4 miles to to steep, short, rough hill leading to good camping, stone beach & short portage to putin.
Go 2.3 miles to some camping, stone beach & short portage to putin.
MM24.0 turn left at the Buckboard campground & marina sign.
MM24.6 turn left onto unsigned (FR008).
Go 1.0 miles. Many side roads lead to good camping, stone beaches & short portage to putins.

MM37.7 turn left at the Anvil Draw sign onto FR001. Go 2.6 miles to boat ramp, toilet, dumpsters. Side roads along the way lead to camping & putins.
US191 - Rock Springs, WY to the dam in Utah:
From Rock Springs take exit 99 on I-80. Follow US191 south 12.7 miles past mile marker 513. Turn right onto a paved road and follow it 9.2 miles to the Firehole boat campground & ramp. $2/day boating fee or $5/16 days. Showers/$2.
A few yards past the turnoff to Firehole Campgrounds continue straight on CR33, a signed dirt road. All descriptions below are free and have no facilities unless stated otherwise.Fontenelle Reservoir Recreation Area:
From I-80 west of Rock Springs/Green River, take WY372 (exit 83) north 40 miles to Fontenelle. There's a tiny store where WY372 makes a sharp left.Camping Areas:
Slate Creek Campgrounds: turn right at the store and go 1 mile and turn left into campgrounds. Free, no nwater, vault toilets, dumpster, boat launch. Note: for primitive camping along river, instead of turning left into campground, go straight, cross bridge and make an immediate right. Camping areas along river.
Tail Race Campgrounds: turn right at the store, go past Slate Creek Campground (above) and cross the bridge. Make an immediate left and go 2.5 miles and bear left at the junction. Go .9 miles and bear left again at that junction. Go .3 miles and bear left at the dam and then right at the cattle guard. As you cross the cattle guard you'll see a toilet directly ahead off in the distance. Home in on it and the campground. Follow main road ignoring all forks. When you get near the river, home in on the toilet. Free, no water, vault toilet, trash can, boat launch from small bank.
Weeping Rock Campgrounds: Continue straight past the store onto dirt road for 2.7 miles and turn right at campground sign. Follow this dirt road 1.1 and to campgrounds. Free, no water, vault toilets, dumpster, boat launch(?). Note: for primitive camping along river, turn right just before campgrounds and follow this road. It follows a small ridge with several steep roads forking off and down to the river. About 1 mile the roads to the river become easier.
Fontenelle Reservoir: Continue straight past the store onto dirt road for 6.5 miles. Turn right onto US189 and contine 3.3 miles and turn right again at campground sign. $5/night, water, flush toilets, dumpster, boat ramp.
